Terms of Service

1. Scope

These Terms govern the use of the Tickwire service (the “Service”), operated by Switzerland. By registering or using the Service you accept these Terms.

2. The Service

Tickwire is a news aggregator that shows headlines and short snippets from publicly available sources, together with market quotes and weather data. The Service is for information only and does not constitute investment, legal or any other advice.

3. Account

A Pro account is required for paid use. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential, and your details must be accurate.

4. Pricing and payment

Pro membership costs CHF 7 per month or CHF 70 per year. Payment is taken in advance by card through our payment provider Stripe. Prices include any applicable statutory VAT.

5. Term and cancellation

The subscription renews automatically for the chosen term (month or year) unless cancelled beforehand. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current period; access remains until then. Amounts already paid are not refunded pro rata unless required by law.

6. Third-party content

The news content shown comes from third-party sources and is protected by copyright; the rights belong to the respective providers. Tickwire shows only titles and short snippets and links to the original source. No warranty is given for the content, availability or accuracy of these sources.

7. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, third-party source outages or force majeure may cause limitations.

8. Liability

Liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law. In particular, we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of the news or market data shown.

9. Changes

We may amend these Terms and the scope of features. We will give timely notice of material changes. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

Swiss law applies. Place of jurisdiction is — to the extent permitted by law — the operator’s registered seat.
